Description: | Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate administrator of a State university. Employees with this admin code are in-unit unless they are employees of the College of Law, College of Medicine, a member of the University Board of Trustees, or if their job code is not found in the list of in-unit job codes found at the following web address: http://hr.fsu.edu/class/facindex.html Responsible for academic counseling and advising to students either within a college or central advising office outside of the college. Responsible for maintaining appropriate records and evaluations of students. May serve on appropriate policy and advisory committees. |
Minimum Qualifications: | Demonstrated, successful academic or administrative experience consistent with university guidelines. Incumbent may be required to hold faculty rank in order to be eligible for appointment to this administrative title. If faculty rank is required, must - possess qualifications appropriate to the rank to which assigned. |
